Triangle vs. Squares

I haven't seen this topic since the formation of SpeakOhio ages ago.

Anyway---Triangles vs. Squares. Which do you prefer for your pizza? Secondly--why is it that only Marion cuts it into squares whereas outside of Marion--in triangles?

Is Marion making a statement that it is a 'square town'?

Squares Baby!!! I never thought of it Squirt, but all the places in Cardington cut it in triangles. The pizza place in Mt. Gilead by the carwash cuts theirs in squares.

Either is fine. What upsets me, though, is when I call someplace and order a pizza and I know that they will cut it either way, and I order pie-cut and get squares (like just about an hour ago)...it makes me madder then hell and I'm not going to take it any more!

Being from Jersey, I never heard of a 'square' until I got to Ohio. In Jersey they cut the pie (yes, it's called pie out east), in big slices and we pick it up, fold it in half and slam it down. That's the way to eat pie!

We also had 'Tomato' pie. No cheese, extra sauce and sliced tomatoes on top. Great for us lactose intolerant people.
