We had been to the Chickenfoot concert at the HOF museum but due to time constraints we were not able to tour the museum grounds at that time. We took a trip north yesterday and decided to spend the day taking the tour.
With admission, parking, food and travel we had about $160.00 invested in the day. It was a good time.
I was most taken by the Hendrix exhibit. There is an entire wall dedicated to Hendrix' childhood artwork. There is something to be said in regards to lefties having artistic ability. He was quite an artist at an early age.
It was neat to see cars, clothing, bikes and instruments used either in video or on stage. Also really cool to see roughdrafts of songs written on whatever was available at the time the artist had the notion to write.
Currently the featured HOF artist is Bruce Springsteen. The scrapbooks and picture albums from the early days were really something to see. It appears that he was just a regular guy once. Kind of inspirational to those of us who die tryin'
Anyway, if you are in Cleveburg and need to kill 3 or 4 hours, I would suggest the museum.
