Yeah, I used to have one of those. I loved Sonic the Hedgehog, and NFL Sports Talk starring Joe Montana

I've heard of the perks of Xbox live. I would like to get a 360, but I'll settle for my PS3 for now until I can affort to splurge on one. There's titles like Halo that PS3 doesn't have that I like.

I really like both games.

I love the gameplay of ps3 NCAA but I don't like that I have to go online and do "team builder" to create my own team. I think the more in depth recruiting and player creator is cool but **No Swearing** time consuming. I've only played 3 games of one season so far. I've decided to let the computer recruit. It just takes to long.

I love that feature where you can create and recruit. In 4 seasons, I've only lost 2 of my created recruits. I've made my Buckeyes the NCAA powerhouse they should be  I am extremely aggressive with my offene and defense playcalling wise. I use the spread formation and light it up thru the air, and then pound em with the run. With the talent the REAL Buckeyes have, I would love to call the offense for one game

I mostly play sports games, but I also love the first person shooter military games. Football will always be my #1 addiction though.

Yeah, I'm addicte to the football games too. Do you play online? I'm not yet but if I get online, we'll have to hook up.

Not yet, but I want to. I have the ethernet cables and hub/router to hook it up, but for some reason when I have it all hooked up (computer and PS3 thru the hub), I can get online with my computer but not the PS3. I got ticked at it after I tried it a couple times, and haven't messed with it for a month or so. I think I know what I didn't do right, but I just haven't fiddled with it. I will get it figured out darn it, I welcome competition (to see if I'm really as good as I think I am  )

Just wrapped up Mass Effect 2 and it is easily one of the best games I have ever played. If you like role playing games or science fiction I would highly recommend it.

You can buy the original used cheap or if you have a 360 you can download it on demand.

I just got thru Modern Warfare 2 friday night. I was kinda disapointed that the game wasn't longer, but I enjoyed what there was. Now, I got to figure why the dumb thing won't recognize my internet connection via ethernet cable, so I can play online (one of the main reasons for buying the game). I looked on the PS website for the guide, and did what was shown, and it still won't work. I'm wondering if I'm going to have to go out and buy a wireless router, since the PS3 has a built in WiFi reciever.

Besides MW2, I am dying to play NCAA 2010 and Madden 10 online.

It should still recognize your ethernet connection. Do you have it running through a router, Windows ICS or directly to the modem? I've heard a lot of people have headaches getting the PS3 online, they usually have to go to their router and manually set everything including the NAT settings.

When I hook it up, it'll say ethernet connection detected. I've ran it thru a ethernet hub, and connected it straight to the cable modem, still not detecting the internet. The maual setting and NAT thing I don't have much of a clue. I think I'm going to check and see if there's anything on the playstation network about this problem, cause it seems like it may be kinda common.

I've never networked a PS3 but I have networked my Sony Bravia and BluRay using a wireless bridge and I had to basically go in and set everything manually. Even when you select Auto Detect for some reason the Sony products don't detect properly. I also had to tweak my NAT and TCP/UDP settings.

I have a feeling that your router or modem is blocking the ports needed to connect to the Sony network. You can try this. Unplug your modem and have it only connected to the PS3 via ethernet cable then power it up and try and connect. If it still will not connect that is usually indicative of your ISP blocking the data ports necessary to connect.

Let me know if that works.

I did the power off trick and it worked! I'm using it right now to make this post!LOL I need to get the keyboard for my controller next, this takes 4ever to post a message with just the controller

I ordered the USB to ethernet connection I need off of ebay to hook up my Wii too. I'm gonna be all networked up before long, LOL.

To think, I used to be a poor kid who thought having a Nintendo (NES) and a 13inch black and white tv was living it up

You shouldn't need any extra hardware to hook up a wii. Our 12 year old (yes - he is the savy one in our house!) managed to connect the wii to the internet via wireless router. The xbox was a little challenging - we had to purchase an adadpter of some sort. I have no clue about how to connect a ps3 - so good luck with all of that!

My boys are really enjoying left for dead 2. Not sure if they have beat modern warfare 2 yet..............

A five dollar adapter for the Wii (USB to Ethernet) off of ebay is cheaper than the wireless router. I checked, LOL  . I do want a dual band wireless router in the future though. I've seen some on ebay a bit cheaper than the stores. I need something like that so I can have my PC, PS3, and Wii hooked up at the same time, and be able to use the internet on more than one. Right now, I have to turn off the modem, hook up the ethernet cable for the device I want, and then power it on (since the modem has a auto detect feature), and only use one at a time. I see it creating a power struggle between my girlfriend and I, to who can be online (the Wii's more her's, the PS3 is all me, and we both use the PC).

The PS3 has a built in WiFi like the Wii, but there's also a ethernet cable port on the back, which the Wii doesn't have. The Wii can be hooked up to the internet Via WiFi or a USB-Ethernet adapter, like I ordered on ebay (I haven't seen it in any store, except one like a O.D. or B.B.. W and M don't carry them as far as I have been able to tell).

The ultimate team on Madden 10 is sweet. You can earn points thru playing online or buy a PS network card, to get better players. When you start, you basically have a scrub team, which makes it very tough to beat anyone (I got my butt kicked my first game  . my team was like a 61 overall, and the guy I played's team was like a 94 overall). You can get different uniforms, stadiums, ect..... as well.

Modern Warfare 2 online is like modern warfare. I have the first for my PC, which I've spent countless hours playing in the past  I like being able to use a controller better on the PS3 though, the PC version you can only use the mouse and keyboard.
