PS3 Game Discussion/Reviews Etc...

I was wondering if anyone has tried the game "Heroes over Europe" for PS3?

Am thinking about buying it.

Oh yeah ! just bought it Friday night. Paid $50 for it new. Its a fun game killing Hitler’s military, the planes are a little harder to fly than most other flight games. Plenty of air and ground strikes, with a very realistic back ground story. The graphics are also great, and after you get to your 3rd or 4th mission you get to fly the old WWII spitfire, what a heroic plane.

My main intent was to buy Ace Combat Zero for PS3, then I was informed that no Ace Combat game was made for PS3, so I defiantly found the next best thing. So have you ever played Ace Combat Zero ? And what are your reviews ??

(1) Madden NFL 2010 (cant wait for 2011) !!! 10/10

(3) Hero’s Over Europe ( my newest game ) 8.5/10

(4) Mortal Combat vs. DC ( fun 2 player game ) 8.5/10

Madden 10 is great...10/10++++

Have you played Modern Warfare 2? I loved the origional (I have it for my PC), and have rented it and want to buy it for my PS3. I also am addicted to NCAA 2010 football, I imported a draft class after my first season of Madden 10, and brought a few of my Buckeyes to my Madden team!

I have not played Ace Combat Zero. Used to play a LOT of video games. Have not played Modern Warfare but have played World at War. It is an awesome game.

Modern Warfare 2 is awesome, it seemed hard to top the first but they did.

Haven't played any flight games on the PS3, or racing yet. I want to play the new Need for Speed Shift, New Nascar, Reflex(atv).

We just got a ps3 for the boys for Christmas. They love Batman Arkham Asylum and Infamous. Me, I only play NCAA Football 2010. I do want Guitar Hero Van Halen though...

I've played 4 complete seasons on NCAA 2010, with a fifth a couple games in. I changed my major guys (Pryor, Herron, Saine, ect...) back to freshman from the start to see how many I could keep for all four years. I am working on my second season on Madden 10, having drafted a few of my guys from NCAA 2010 on my team I'm using (of course I had to do some trading and salary cap turned off, LOL). I really like both games.

Last system I played on for any length of time was Playstation 2 I believe. After N64, I just kind of got lost. The games got too complicated for me and I couldn't figure out all the 1000's of moves and motions on the controllers any more. Plus, I just don't have the dexterity I once had. I sure did love Mario back in the days.

First - we still have the original NES system with the Super Mario Bros./Duckhunt game! We pull it out of the box once or twice a year for the kids (ok and us) to have some fun with it.

Kids have a Wii, PS2, and 360. Here are their favorite games on each console:

Wii - Mario Kart and Call of Duty Modern Warfare
PS2 - any of the Need for Speeds as well as Grand Theft Auto, Madden 07
360 - it's all Halo 3, ODST, and Modern Warfare 2. They just pooled their money together and bought Left for Dead 2 - but apparently not many of their friends have that game yet - so they aren't playing it very much. We have Madden 10 for the 360 - but the kids never give poor dad a chance to play it - one of the boys would love to play it and the other is not into sports games at all!

EVERYONE seems to be on XBOX live - are there many people on Playstions version?

The great thing about the Playstation Network is you don't have to pay to play on it like Xbox 360. You can buy cards and such to get things like movies/game downloads/ect..... for it

I bought my girlfriend a Wii for X-mas. I love that bowling game on Wii sports that comes with the Wii. My girlfriend and I both like the new Super Mario Bros game.

I love video games, I'm like a big kid when it comes to them. I play when I can, but I don't let them rule my time. I still like the outdoors very much so, fishing, sports, cooking out, ect.....

It's worth paying for Xbox Live. Not only does it offer better connectivity but much better content than the Playstation Network. For example I was playing 1 vs. 100 tonight with some friends and I managed to win myself a free arcade game and 600 MS points to use towards games or movies.

With Netflix you can not only stream movies directly to your 360 but also invite your friends in to watch with you even if they don't have Netflix. It's like an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 with all your friends avatars sitting in a virtual theater watching movies.

Not to mention the 360 offers a much better exclusive title line-up. Next week Mass Effect 2 will come out and as a die hard BioWare fan I am sure it will occupy much of my free time.

Yes- Xbox Live costs money. You can get a year for around $40 an Amazon just about at anytime. PS network is free…but you get what you pay for. Many more people on Xbox live for multiplayer games and way better content.
