Anyone see this yet? I was not eager to see it, thought it looked weird.

One of the BEST movies I have ever seen in my life. The story was amazing, the acting was flawless, and the special effects were none like I had ever seen. James Cameron deserves major Oscar awards for this one. I can't wait to go see it again.

Not interested in the slightest. The kids might go see it, more power to 'em.

I want to see it. I'll probably wait until it hits blue ray, rent it and pop it in my Ps3, and watch it on my flatscreen  . A lot cheaper that way

I already have a Ps3, and a flatscreen HD tv. So yes, it's cheaper for me. And it won't be $5 dollars to rent, I don't go to that high priced video store!

The movie is great (if you like special effects)
The movie is not-so-great (if you like a storyline)

osu - Can your set handle 3-D? If you're wanting to see it the "right" way...that's the only way to go.

Have you guys read where there are some putzs that see this movie and get suicidal because of how great and meaningful life is on the Avatar planet and how bad and sucky life is on the Earth as a human being? I had no interest in seeing this movie whatsoever but now I want to see what the fuss is about.

Upsets me that Quentin Tarantino is going to get beat out of any Oscars again by another blockbuster coming out the same year as arguably his best movie of all time. Forest Gump smoked Pulp Fiction. Now Inglorious Basterds will get burned by Avatar.
