Godzilla
by BOC

With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down, Godzilla!

Helpless people on subway trains
Scream BUG-EYED as he looks in on them, Godzilla!

He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town, Godzilla

Oh no, they say he's got to go
Go go Godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes Tokyo
Go go Godzilla, yeah

Oh no, they say he's got to go
Go go Godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes Tokyo
Go go Godzilla, yeah

Rinji news o moshiagemasu!
Rinji news o moshiagemasu!
Godzilla ga Ginza hoomen e mukatte imasu!
Daishkyu hinan **No Swearing** kudasai!
Daishkyu hinan **No Swearing** kudasai!
(Attention, emergency news!
Attention, emergency news!
Godzilla is going toward the Ginza area!
Immediately escape, catch up, find shelter please!
Immediately escape, catch up, find shelter please!)

Oh no, they say he's got to go
Go go Godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes Tokyo
Go go Godzilla, yeah

History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men
Godzilla!(4x)

Dirty King
The Cliks

Hey, I can do the dishes
And I could climb your walls
And I'll clean out my stitches
With rubbing alcohol

Yeah, I can paint your eyelids
And you'll be so pristine
And I can keep your eyes shut
To keep you nice and clean

I am your dirty k-k
I am your dirty k-k
I am your dirty k-k
I am your dirty king, yeah
I am your dirty king

Hey I can be your boyfriend
And I could be your all
And I'll keep all your secrets
Inside the bedroom walls

Well I can be so humble
And you'll be so naive
And I can be the motor
You'll be the gasoline

I am your dirty k-k
I am your dirty k-k
I am your dirty k-k

I am your dirty king, yeah
I am your dirty king
I am your dirty king, yeah
I am your dirty king

I am your dirty king, yeah
I am your dirty king
I am your dirty king, yeah
I am your dirty king

(sound like Congress or ummm...the White House maybe?)

Loser
by Beck

In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey
Butane in my veins and I’m out to cut the junkie
With the plastic eyeballs, spray-paint the vegetables
Dog food stalls with the beefcake pantyhose
Kill the headlights and put it in neutral
Stock car flamin’ with a loser and the cruise control
Baby’s in reno with the vitamin d
Got a couple of couches, sleep on the love-seat
Someone came sayin’ I’m insane to complain
About a shotgun wedding and a stain on my shirt
Don’t believe everything that you breathe
You get a parking violation and a maggot on your sleeve
So shave your face with some mace in the dark
Savin’ all your food stamps and burnin’ down the trailer park

Yo. cut it.

Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?

(double barrel buckshot)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?

Forces of evil on a bozo nightmare
Ban all the music with a phony gas chamber
’cuz one’s got a weasel and the other’s got a flag
One’s on the pole, shove the other in a bag
With the rerun shows and the cocaine nose-job
The daytime crap of the folksinger club
He hung himself with a guitar string
A slab of turkey-neck and it’s hangin’ from a pigeon wing
You can’t write if you can’t relate
Trade the cash for the beef for the body for the hate
And my time is a piece of wax fallin’ on a termite
who's chokin’ on the splinters

Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(get crazy with the cheese whiz)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(drive-by body-pierce)
(yo bring it on down)
Soooooyy....

?em llik uoy t'nod yhw os ,ybab resol a m'I rodedreP nu yos
[It's the Chorus backwards]

(I’m a driver, I’m a winner; things are gonna change I can feel it)

Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(I can’t believe you)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(Nlehh...)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(Sprechen Sie Deutsch hier, Baby!)
Soy un perdedor
I’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?
(know what I’m sayin’? )

Simple Man by Bad Company

I am just a simple man, working on the land
Oh it ain't easy
I am just a simple man, working with my hands
Oh believe me
Freedom is the only thing means a d**n to me
Oh you can't fake it
Freedom is the only song, sings a song for me
Oh we're gonna make it

I am just a simple man, trying to be me
Oh it ain't easy
I am just a simple man, trying to be free
Oh believe me
Freedom is the only thing means a d**n to me
Oh you can't fake it
Freedom is the only song, sings a song for me
Oh we're gonna make it

I am just a simple man, working on the land
Oh it ain't easy
I'm just a simple man, working with my hands
Oh baby, believe me
I'm just a simple man, yeah yeah
Freedom is the only thing means a **No Swearing** to me
I'm just a simple man, yeah

.
Song Title When I'm 64

When I get older, losing my hair, many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a Valentine, birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
If I'd been out 'till quarter to three, would you lock the door?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four?

Hmm------mmm---mmmh.
You'll be older, too.Aaah, and if you say the word, I could stay with you.

I could be handy, mending a fuse, when your lights have gone.
You can knit a sweater by the fireside, sunday mornings, go for a ride.
Doing the garden, digging the weeds, who could ask for more?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty four?

Every summer we can rent a cottage in the Isle of Wightif it's not to dear. We shall scrimp and save.
Ah, grandchildren on your knee, Vera, Chuck, and Dave.

Send me a postcard, drop me a line stating point of view.
Indicate precisely what you mean to say, yours sincerely wasting away.
Give me your answer, fill in a form, mine forever more.
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty four?

love the Beatles. I read somewhere the 50% of all high school kids didn't know what band Paul McCartney once belonged to.

In My Life by The Beatles

There are places I'll remember all my life,
though some have changed.

Some forever not for better
some have gone and some remain.

All these places have their moments
with lovers and friends I still can recall.

Some are dead and some are living,
in my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
there is no one compares with you.

And these memories lose their meaning
when I think of love as something new.

Though I know I'll never lose affection
for people and things that went before

I know I'll often stop and think about them
in my life I love you more........

Die with your boots on
Iron Maiden
(Smith/Dickinson/Harris)

Yeah! Another Prophet of Disaster
Who says the ship is lost,
Another Prophet of Disaster
Leaving you to count the cost.
Taunting us with Visions,
Afflicting us with fear,
Predicting war for millions,
In the hope that one appears.

No point asking when it is,
No point asking who's to go,
No point asking what's the game,
No point asking who's to blame.
'Cause if you're gonna die (If you're gonna die) If you're gonna die,
(If you're gonna die) If you're gonna die (If you're gonna die) If you're gonna die...

(Chorus)
If you're gonna die, die with your boots on.
If you're gonna try, well stick around,
Gonna cry, just move along,

If you're gonna die, you're gonna die,
Gonna die! Die with your boots on,
If you're gonna try, well stick around,
Gonna cry, just move along,
If you're gonna die, you're gonna die!

13, the Beast is rising,
The Frenchman did surmise,
Through earthquakes and starvation,
The warlord will arise.
Terror, death, destruction,
Pour from the Eastern Sands,
But the truth of all predictions,
Is always in your hands.

They died with their boots on, yes they died...
They died! They die with their boots on, they die...
We die! We die! We die! We die! We die!

If you're gonna die, die with your boots on.
If you're gonna try and try then just stick around,
Gonna cry, just move along,
If you're gonna die, you're gonna die
Gonna die! Die with your boots on,
If you're gonna try, well stick around,
Gonna cry, just move along,
If you're gonna die... Die!

A New Level
Pantera- Vulgar Display of Power

Now a new look in my eyes my spirit rise
Forget the past
Present tense works and lasts
Got s**t on
**No Swearing** on
Spit on
Stepped on
F***ed with
Pointed at by lesser men

New life in place of old life
Unscarred by trials

A new level of confidence and power

Demanding plea for unity between us all --
United stand
Death before divided fall
In mock military order
Vulgar
Power
Impatient
Because time is shorter

New life in place of old life
Unscarred by trials

A new level of confidence and power

That's right....

No f***ing surrender
Can't lose
Life kills

Black Sabbath
Into The Void

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky they blast
Through the universe the engines whine
Could it be the end of man and time?
Back on earth the flame of life burns low
Everywhere is misery and woe
Pollution kills the air, the land and sea
Man prepares to meet his destiny

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky so vast
Burning metal through the atmosphere
Earth remains in worry, hate and fear
With the hateful battles raging on
Rockets flying to the glowing sun
Through the empires of eternal void
Freedom from the final suicide

Freedom fighters sent out to the sun
Escape from brainwashed minds and pollution
Leave the earth to all it's sin and hate
Find another world where freedom waits

Past the stars in fields of ancient void
Through the shields of darkness where they find
Love upon a land a world unknown
Where the sons of freedom make their home
Leave the earth to Satan and his slaves
Leave them to their future in the grave
Make a home where love is there to stay
Peace and happiness in every day

Re: Your Favorite Song & Lyrics

My bride and I went to the used cd outlet in Mansburg again the other day. With the purchase of 19 discs, I left the building with a big smile.

I ran across an album that I had not heard since the late 80's. I used to have it on cassette, not sure whatever happened to it. For the price of 1.99 I walked away with a clean copy of Robert Plant's Shaken' n' Stirred.

It was the first choice of play on the way back home.
When the disc reached the song "Little by Little" my mind raced back to long forgotten moments and memories.

The album was released May 20, 1985.
Our school had suffered the loss of two female students during that time in two seperate automobile accidents, I remember feeling mortal for the very first time. I was just about to begin my last summer vacation in my parents home. A big year of change was ahead of me at the time and I had no idea what I was in for, very little occurred that year that was positive. I wish I had the chance to live it again, maybe I would have handled things differently.
Strangely, I felt remorse as well as elation when I heard this song again. It is strange how different sights, smells, or sounds can trigger memories.
I'm thankful for the group of friends that I had surrounding me at the time, they made the bad times bearable, and the good times great.

Little by Little
Robert Plant

Little by little, my heart grieves
Little by little, I call your name
Little by little, my tears fall
Little by little, everything changes
Little by little, the time goes
Little by little, the days pass by
Little by little, the air clears
Little by little, I can breathe again
I can breathe again I can breathe again now
I can breathe again
Back at the mirror, your good friend
Talk to the mirror, to play out your game
Slap in the middle, I stop then
Look at the winner, and the price you pay
Hum! Cold was the winter, I tremble
Long was the fall, that had no end
Now little by little, the air clears
little by little, I can breathe I can breathe again
I can breathe again I can breathe again,
now Call your name, call your name
Call your name, call your name
Everything changes, Everything changes,
I call your name Oh, I can breathe again,
I can breathe again I can breathe again,
I can breathe again Oooh, oooh! Little by Little.

Welcome To The Machine

Pink Floyd

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
Where have you been?
It's alright we know where you've been.
You've been in the pipeline, filling in time,
Provided with toys and 'Scouting for Boys'.
You bought a guitar to punish your ma,
And you didn't like school, and you
know you're nobody's fool,
So welcome to the machine.

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
What did you dream?
It's alright we told you what to dream.
You dreamed of a big star,
He played a mean guitar,
He always ate in the Steak Bar.
He loved to drive in his Jaguar.
So welcome to the Machine.
